Setozo Museum

The Seto Museum was opened on March 19, 2005 as a museum for the Yakimono on the 2nd to 3rd floor of Seto's sightseeing base facility "Setozo".
 In the second floor space, the town of Seto from the 1950s and 40s will spread, and the old Owari Seto Station, the train that was running at the time, the pottery factory (Moro), the coal kiln, and the chimney will be welcomed.
While walking through the nostalgic streets, please experience the making of Seto no Yaki.

Seto City New Century Craft Museum

"Seto City New Century Craft Museum" was opened for the purpose of developing the new century industry, art, and culture in the new century, taking advantage of the characteristics of the Seto town. It consists of an exhibition building, an exchange building, and a workshop building, and is used for accepting trainees, various exhibitions, and events.

Dyed craftsmanship

The museum is a facility with the theme of "Seto Dyeing", a traditional technique of yakimono. Here, we are introducing Yakimono culture, including "Seto Dyeing", the release of work scenery such as pottery and painting, and exhibitions such as masterpieces. In addition, the only old kiln in the city (Kogama: a city -designated cultural property climbing kiln) is also preserved and disclosed. As a facility to learn the traditional industries in Seto, many elementary school group tours (about 30 people) are accepted.

Setomachi Tsukurite Center

It is a base facility that supports “Tsukurite” that conducts manufacturing activities.
"Tsukurite", which is involved in various manufacturing such as pottery, glass, craft, and art, is also used as a community salon and gallery in the tunago area. It is a facility that can be used freely by the general public.
